Gymshark is another one of the brands that collaborate with small influencers on TikTok. Gymshark effectively used TikTok influencer marketing to promote fitness apparel and accessories. They created a challenge — the 66 Days: Change Your Life challenge — which asked TikTok users to set a personal goal they wanted to achieve over the next 66 days.
Rather than just setting the challenge and hoping it went viral, Gymshark partnered with popular TikTok influencers to create their own versions of the challenge video. Gymshark also made the influencer campaign a giveaway by promising one user a year’s supply of Gymshark products.
The campaign proved very effective for Gymshark. The hashtag for the campaign, #gymshark66, currently has more than 250 million views.
Mucinex, the over-the-counter medicine company, also used TikTok influencers as part of a challenge-based campaign on the platform. The influencers made videos where they started out looking like zombies but then used Mucinex and were ready to party. Mucinex encouraged other TikTok users to make their own versions of the video using the hashtag #TooSickToBeSick.
The campaign ran between Halloween and November 2, capitalizing on enthusiasm for the holiday. Yet again, it was a simple concept that proved to be very effective for promoting Mucinex on TikTok.
